BIBTY بيبتي: A Femme-Centered SWANA/Arab Dance Party at BOX 13 ArtSpace Houston, TX On Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 7–11 PM, BOX 13 ArtSpace will come alive with Bibty بيبتي, a femme-centered SWANA/Arab dance party celebrating diaspora sounds, community connection, and joy.
DJ Purplpitch, an Egyptian-American artist known for her genre-blending mixes of Hip-hop, Afrobeats, Arabic pop, and global beats, will set the dance floor in motion. Guests can recharge in the Diaspora Dumplings Lounge, a cozy space for conversation and delicious handmade dumplings by aisha tida and tablescape styled by Laila Khalili of Sofreh Studio. Macy from HennaLove.com offer intricate henna adornments, turning skin into living art.
