Cyrilrose Pucio
Artist Bio
Cyrilrose Pucio is a nonbinary Filipino multidisciplinary artist working across acrylic painting, digital illustration, and 3D sculptural forms. They earned their BFA in Painting from the University of Houston in December 2023. Deeply influenced by fantasy, romantic themes, and observations of human behavior, Cyrilrose’s work explores the full spectrum of love from tenderness to heartbreak. Their pieces shift from soft, angelic imagery to dark palettes and visceral scenes that capture anguish, longing, and emotional transformation. They incorporate fashion styling, color theory, and baroque design in their practice, painting carefully constructed garments and theatrical compositions. Their work has been showcased at the Blaffer Museum (Spring 2023), 10x10 exhibitions at Hardy & Nance (2019 and 2023), and the Somberflora Art & Fashion Show in Los Angeles (2025). Across mediums—graphite, acrylic, digital art, and sculpture—Cyrilrose builds visual narratives shaped by memory, interconnection, and the intensity of human relationships.
