Quentin Pace
Artist Bio
Quentin Pace is an artist, archivist, and librarian working in Houston, TX. He received his Bachelors of Fine Arts from the University of Houston-Downtown (2014) later obtaining his Masters of Science in Library Science from the University of North Texas (2018) with a concentration in Archival Studies and Digital Imaging. He has primarily exhibited work throughout the Houston area at institutions such as the Lawndale Art Center, the University Museum at Texas Southern University, and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston with his solo exhibition entitled Who Is You? held at the Texarkana Regional Arts & Humanities Council (TRAHC) located in Texarkana, Texas. The focus of his practice is on both the figurative and abstract, enjoying the flexibility of both. His work is created through a lens that is influenced by Black culture, his southern upbringing, collective memory, comics, and Hip-Hop.
